Yuzawa is home to Jozen, and Hakkaisan, some of the most famous brands of sake in Japan. So much snow falls in the area, this snow melts in abundance to provide beautiful, clean water, and in turn the highest quality rice in Japan, which is used to make sake.

Yuzawa train station celebrates its sake brewing heritage with the Ponshukan - a place where you can indulge in tasting various local sake. There is also a 'sakeburo', a mineral bath with sake added to the water, said to aid circulation.

1. Bar Manager - we are looking for an experienced bar manager to run the Bottle Bar, a lively international bar on the main Yuzawa high street. This is a full-time position, and would be the perfect job for someone who wants to spend a season in a ski resort town. Conversational English and Japanese language required.

2. Babysitters - want to combine weekend ski trips with some extra income? WeLoveSnow is establishing a baby-sitting service for the coming season. We are looking for part-time staff who would like to earn extra income before or after a day on the slopes.
