Kandatsu isn't just about skiing and boarding! The resort also has a top class spa complex in the main building area. Facilities include a 7m x 15m main bath, jacuzzi, sauna, and 'rotemburo' heated outside bath.

We highly recommend the spa complex as a great way to relax after a hard day on the slopes - or even as a diversion if skiing or riding seems like too much effort for the afternoon!

Pine Ridge Resorts Kandatsu also enjoys a great reputation for the quality of its food.

Of the various restaurants in the resort, our favourites are the Brown Cafe, which serves a range of espresso and coffees with light snacks.

Kan Kan Tei, on the second floor of the Gallery House building at the foot of the main piste, serves a range of western food - and you can watch others skiing and riding down the pistes whilst enjoying your meal.

There is also a new restaurant "Maki to Ishi" serving a variety of Italian dishes.
