Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort
Nozawa Ski Resort

Once you have booked with WeLoveSnow we will send your ticket voucher to the St Anton(4) rental shop for collection (see below for details)]

Your ticket voucher can be redeemed at any ticket counter at the Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort.
(N.B. Although you have paid for your ticket in full, Nozawa Onsen use an IC chip ticket system. This chip opens the lift barrier automatically for you as you approach. You have to pay 1000JPY per person for your IC chip. This is a refundable deposit. After your final day of skiing you can hand your chip into the lift counter or put it in one of the machines there to receive your 1000JPY.)

There is a ticket counter at the Hikage Information Centre(3). This is also where St Anton(4) rental shop is located. From the famous Oyu spa(2) in the heart of Nozawa Onsen (the famous, old wooden spa building), head up the small path and turn left at the end. You will see the Yu Road which is a moving escalator that leads to the Hikage Information Centre.

The St Anton rental shop is in front of the Hikage Information Centre. The rental shop will have your details in advance and they will be expecting you. All you have to do is tell the staff your name and reference number.
(N.B. The equipment from St Anton is first rate, though they do also have a limited amount of test skis that you can rent for an extra 2000JPY)

Rentals need to be returned by 5pm. If you are skiing for several days, please go to St Anton to pick up your rental each day.

The Nozawa Onsen Ski School is in the Hikage Information Centre. If you have booked a private lesson with an English speaking instructor, all you have to do is tell the staff at the ski school counter your name and reference number to check in for your lesson.
